One of the techniques that I like to use is sharing a bit of poetry during training. It can be used to introduce or reinforce a point. For example, the last verse of Punctuality by Lewis Carroll could be used to encourage participants to be proactive instead of reactive.
It reads:
Better to be before your time,
Than e're to be behind;
To open the door while strikes the chime,
That shows a punctual mind.
Than e're to be behind;
To open the door while strikes the chime,
That shows a punctual mind.
What poems do you like to use in training?
